The Pokémon Peninsula - Games - Pokémon Mini Console

The Pokémon Peninsula > Games - Pokémon Mini Console

The Pokémon Mini is a palm-sized handheld games console. Like the Gameboy console, it uses a cartridge ("Game Pak") for games. There are several games available for the console, only four of which have been translated into English.

The Pokémon Mini console comes in three colours: Smoochum Pink (which is actually purple o_O), Wooper Blue and Chikorita Green. It is relatively inexpensive (I can only speak for Australia, but its RRP on release was AU$80 which was reduced to AU$20 because of poor sales, after which they sold like hot cakes XD) and great to slip into your pocket for a car trip, to take to school or anywhere else.

The console comes with one game (Pokémon Party mini). It has a built-in rumble feature, shock sensor (some games need you to shake the console) and infrared port for multiplayer gaming (up to 6 players can play). It has a black-and-white LCD screen, a clock and stopwatch function and 6 memory files (each of the four games available only uses one memory slot, so that's plenty). Other accessories, like a carry pouch and wrist strap, can be bought separately. It will run for 60 hours on one AAA battery; a testing battery (not full strength) is included.
